COVID - 19 PHASE II Information for 4-H
Regional Stay-at-Home Order for Santa Barbara County will take effect on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. and is expected to remain in place for atleast three weeks before re-evaluation by the State the week of December 28, 2020. https://www.countyofsb.org/asset.c/5900
At this time we will not be accepting and approving any new and current Phase II requests until further notice.
Santa Barbara & San Luis Obispo County
Each 4-H leader will be required to attend one Q&A Session AND one Training session. These meetings are mandatory for any 4-H leader who is wanting to lead any in-person activities during Phase II.
The following steps must be completed by project and club leaders in order to resume limited in-person 4-H meetings, programs, or activities. Any unauthorized in-person activities will not be covered by the UC insurance and may not be included in 4-H record books. Corrective actions will be taken if 4-H volunteers or families host or participate in any unauthorized in-person activities.
COVID-19 Phase 2 - Steps Required to Begin Limited In-Person Activities
1.Must review, agree to and follow ALL Mitigation Standards Summary for COVID-19, Stage 2
2.Must review, agree to and follow ALL Safety Standards for Resuming In-Person Activity, Stage II
3.Must attend virtual COVID-19 Phase 2 Safety Protocol Training hosted by 4-H personnel
4.Complete and submit the Safety Plan with Participant Roster for approval
5.Review and confirm you can complete & submit the COVID-19 Phase 2 Safety Protocol Checklist for each in-person activity
6.Must receive approval prior to in-person activities from the 4-H Program and County Director

*Please send all requests 2 weeks prior to your event. Staff will need time to review and approve requests. All 4-H Adults & Youth listed on the "roster" will need to be in an "active" status on 4-H Online.
